Sealing waits longest: the surface has to be bone dry, so it's often a separate visit. In Limerick the driest months are April, May and June.

Can I walk or drive on it straight after?
Yes, once it's rinsed. Keep off fresh sand until it's brushed in, and off a sealer until the company says it's cured.
When is re-sanding done?
Once the joints are dry, sometimes the same day, sometimes a day later.
What time of year suits power washing?
Dry, mild weather. At Shannon Airport, April, May and June have the most dry days, about 14–15 a month. Re-sanding and sealing need dry joints, so they wait for a dry spell.
Do I need to be home the whole time?
Usually only at the start, to move the cars and show where the outside tap is. Agree that when you book.
